san francisco hotel w/ room for 2 for $150 to $190 (incl tax)?
November 10, 2008 – 9:38 pmI want to travel to San Francisco w/ my fiance in April and I am looking for a decent but not ridiculously expensive place to stay. I am willing to pay up to $190 incl. tax a night and would like to stay as close as downtown as possible
Hey, if u're staying for the weekends. Omni Hotel in SF is having a special for $135/a nite; comes out to be $153/nite with tax and fees. The promotion code is "OMNIZOO". I stayed at this hotel before. It's by far the best hotel I've stayed at in SF. The room is spacious and the bathroom is big. If you're renting a car, it's expensive to park at the hotel. It's $50/day. Ask the receptionist where to park b/c one block away, u can park your car for $6/day instead of at the hotel. I just booked mine today. I'm staying at the HILTON, too, but booked the Omni for the other days just in case HILTON is not what it seems to be.

The Capri Motel on Lombard street is a very nice place and well under the 150.00 limit. It isn't downtown but they have parking and an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and public transportation can get you anywhere in the city very conveniently.
